ummmm except if you post the full context of the first panel, Roy was being a huge predatory creeper on her and comes off just as bad if not worse than Dick in that scene. Later on, Kory has to blast him away from her because he keeps ignoring her rejections. Yeah Dick was a huge jerk in NTT until he became Nightwing (and even then he was still repeatedly possessive) and Kory doesn’t need him to protect her from shit but the narrative makes BOTH Roy and Dick look terrible in this particular issue.

So if we’re going with “I see what you did there” caption then yeah, I see that Roy was being a sleazebag asshole in both of these scenes. You’d think after knowing a girl since they were 16 and having a long lasting friendship with her throughout four Titans incarnations in the last twenty years, he’d wonder why she couldn’t remember anything and he’d want to idk DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT??? GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS MYSTERY??? HELP HER??? but no he sleeps with her okay how hawt

but comparing RHatO scenes with past comic book scenes is pointless because fucking Scott Lobdell clearly has never read anything that Roy, Kory and Jason have ever been in. At best, he skimmed wikipedia and maybe watched Under the Red Hood. So I don’t really know what there is to “see what he did there” except see that he can’t write these characters for shit and has no respect for their history.
